Why not go for that?

The car is in the private for sale section.

 

The mod list sounds good, so the owner probably knew what he was doing.

Have you taken it for a test drive? If so, how does it run? Thats the best way to find out if its beat up or not.

If after the test drive you are still worried about it, have a mechanic check it over.

Well posting milage would be key.

Definitely get it checked out by a mechanic.

 

Oh by the way, It only has 14,800 mi on the engine.
11000 mi on the turbo/engine mods.
8000 mi on the tires.
7500 mi on the transmission/clutch.

So he's already been through 1 engine and 1 tranny? The car must have been beat to ****. Take it to a mechanic before spending your money.

 

I finally to just got an evo. I have been looking since the summer. My best advice is find one that has been moderately modded and don't settle. Wait until the right one comes along. Eventually you will find one that you know is right.
