Many people recommend BG Syncromesh for the tranny. http://www.amsperformance.com/store/...roducts_id=132

Also Diaqueen is the only stuff you should put in your transfer case IMO.

You can get BG Synchroshift 1 from slowboy racing....its 33 bucks for 3 which should be all you need I think? Diaqueen you can get from mitsubishiparts.net, they have it for a good price......

I just did mine and used heavy shockproof in my tc and rear diff, and BG in the tranny...its working very well so far but most wont agree to that, but I say dsm's have been using it for years and I doubt mitsu used anything different when they built the evo tranny/tc/rear diff plus shep recommended it and as far as im concerned hes the only one I listen to!.....$54.00 bucks to do everything / just my $.02

One jug of diaqueen will last you for all of your transfer case and rear diff changes. I think the jug is about a gallon size. That is the size that got from the dealer anyway.

Slightly of topic sorry.
Does anybody know where is a good place to get a pump from. I have read you need one to change the fluids. I am getting ready to do this for the first time on my own. I know autozone sells them just wanted to see what all you recommended.

Lookup the part number for diaqueen, then search www.mitsubishiparts.net

At the loca dealer the 4L can of Super Diaqueen and 4L can of Diaqueen LSD was $104.00
Retail on the Super Diaqueen is like 70 bones. They gave it to me for 10% off. ($63).

From what I understand, they only come in 4 litre cans. There is enough to do the tranny once and both center and rear diff, twice.
