how much $$ did it cost?

How much would you say is a fair price for pdr on just the hood??

 

Its going to be expensive and tricky to find a good pdr guy that can do aluminum. I would start calling local body shops to see if they have pdr guys in house that can do alum.

 

can anyone give me a ballpark price so I know what to expect? or so I don't get ripped off

 

If you lived in SoCal, i have a guy who can do just about anything. I've seen dents the size of a bowling ball he took out. I thought it was BS until i saw it myself.

I have used a pdr to remove a ding left by a truck door on the rear fender. These guys are good. From the info I have is they charge per panel (no matter whether you have 1 dent or 50) it's the same price. It's around $70 - $80 for a panel. But then again I am not sure about aluminium, but I guess they will be able to handle that too, call up and ask. Find out from your local mitsu delaer, all dealers have a pdr who works on their pre-owned cars to bring them to show room condition.
