Before i start to get flamed i did search but couldnt find anything. Hey guys im looking to trade my evo in but ive talked to about 4 dealers now and they say its only worth 22500. Isnt that a bit low for an 05 with ssl? Kbb and NADA are right about 27,000. also the car has 6000 miles on it.

 

They are trying to rip you off. It will sell will the right advertising for 28 easy

 

you'd have to know what the car gets at wholesale. that's what the stealers base their appraisals on

 

Dont forget you have some mods on your car. Dealers do not offer much on a vehicle with mods versus vehicles without them. Trying taking them off and putting the stock components back on and see how they offer.

 

I was offered 23 at one dealer and 24 at another. I have a bone stock gg MR with only 14k on the clock. I think you're about where you should be with dealers. Some may offer you more, but I wouldn't jump to reference KBB or any other source. They just don't care. Your mods are hurting you also. I'm surprised they didn't try to lowball you more. Sell it to them for 22,500 and go back next week and expect to see a "Fast and Furious Tuned Evo" selling for 32k . That's just how it is, man. Good luck.

 

yeah the mods woudlnt stay on it. Just trying to get out of the car but not for the price they were giving me!!!

 

If there is a carmax take it to them. 25-26k is what you should get if that.
