i heard rhys millen's name twice so im guessing it could be one of the rwd converted evos he has. i know i saw a vid of a silver evo 9 that was converted to rwd and he was drifting like mad inside a tiny parking lot. driftings cool and all but i dont think it suits the evo at all in any way. just my 2 cents

I wouldn't be surprised to see a few Evo drift cars coming out before long. There is no reason an Evo wouldn't make a good drift car with the RWD conversion. It has a great suspension, percise steering, and the ability to make alot of power easily. The only thing I would be worried about is the reliability of the power steering system and the need for more steering lock.
That's Rich Rutherford's EVO. He was one of the drivers in F&F3 but the drift car is actually evom's IceSlidinFools (AKA Atlanta Formula D winner Tanner Foust) old 03' street car that was turned into a D1 car (you can see pics of the street car in my gallery, it's BBY).
He will be running the whole Formula D series this year and it is a very well turned out car with beautiful welding etc.. It also sports Vishnu Ohlins (drift spec
) shocks and I'm helping with the engineering of the car set-up wise and Shiv has/will be tuning it (not sure is he actually has yet).
I would expect the car to actually be capable of winning an event by the end of this year or more likely next year because the combo is so new. The EVO is not the quickest thing when you take the AWD away (as you all know) and finding rear grip is the current ongoing issue. It is constantly improving and is now competitive (as the video shows).
Props to Joe at CSU for help as well
