I'm pretty happy with my GSR.... the only thing that I would want is the 6th gear but other than that I dont think its worth the extra money since suspension and rims would get changed out anyways....

I have the extra $$$ now to buy an MR, so I will be buying and MR If you have the money, I don't see why you wouldn't opt for it?

Oh behave

Rrrrrrrrrriiiiiiight. I had one modded the hell out of it and got beat by a bolt on evo, traded it in and never looked back. 10s on a stock turbo from an evo > 12s on a stock turbo on an sti.

Not really looking to clutter up this thread by argueing but just read around on nasioc...I would ask how to make my car faster and I would get subarus aren't for drag racing buy an evo, then I would ask how to get better handling, buy an evo...so finally I was tired of my own people telling me to turncoat so I test drove one to see what the hype was about and haven't regretted a day since.

I love my MR. Like the others said for a few grand more you get a lot. It 's really only appealing if your going to keep the wheels and suspention for a while.

I love the smooth ride and the 6 speed.

one strange thing I found is after owing an MR for awhile, I find myself reaching for 6th gear in my other 5 speed cars-DOH!
If you can afford an MR- I feel it is worth it- love the looks and the feel.

-I'll be replacing shocks @ 60k miles so bilstiens will be useless to me
-My rims will be bent due to the crappy roads here so I can get some nice lightweight rims
-My 5spd will most likely be rebuilt down the road and there are more options for the 5spd
-Unfortunately the MR lost it's rarity once the IX comes out, it's really not that limited anymore thye will pump out as many as they can sell.

But if it's a choice of MR or SSL, MR all the way.

I love the MR. I think it comes down to whether you plan to mod. No (significant) mods, get an MR; lotsa mods, don't spend the 2K extra.

if you gonna mod it get the base

if you gonna use as a daily driver the only question is "sunroof"

i'm gonna trade in my 06 STi for the 07 STi limited cuz of the sunroof

After having the 05 GSR with SSL i gotta have my sunroof
