Problems with evo and mitsubishi...
im having all kind of problems with my evo but more problems since i got my car back from dealership... they told me since my car was modified...they aren't going to warranty their work?.. they put a brand new engine in and and new turbo... so im pretty much im on my own... hope someone can help me..
there is a rattling noise coming from the lower passenger side... i first thought its the windshield clip rattling against windshield because there was an recall on it.....i did the fix and i was wrong... its something else... it only rattles when im accelerating and sometimes at idle... it doesn't do it if i don't have my foot on gas....i can't find out what it is
there is a clicking noise coming from inside the engine.. at idle..it sounds like the camshaft is hitting something.. i thought it was a exhaust leak but it wasn't.. so im not sure if thats normal or not... can anyone help me...
the mitsubishi didn't do a good job on the repair at all... when i took my exhaust manifold off to install a new o2 housing.. i noticed 4 of the bolts were hand tight..i twisted them off with my fingers...i guess they thought the bolts were hard to reach and just hand tighten them... when they took my wheel off from the passenger side.. the plastic shield or cover was taken off for new timing belt..they left that piece off and hid it under my passenger side seat... this comes to show how professional mitsubishi dealership are....

my car was involved in an accident and was towed to dealership for a new engine and a new turbo put in and no waranty on their work.. i was kind of expecting that but didn't expect them to do a sh1tty job and i can't do anything about it... i spent around $8000 on the repair.. ..any help would help
how much should he have spent.
dude make a list of everything you got replaced/fixed.
also bring it back to another dealer and make them fix it. they cant hand you a car back 95%done. not cool.

after 8k in fixing a car... and u still askin this^^^^^^ dude... i really feel bad for u.... no like.... i shed a tear.....
i hope u can get some justice .... but didnt your inurance cover it??
I would shove it in the dealers face, 8K is a lot of cash to be shelling out. I would be going to the highest level even possible to tick off everyone! For the money you spent you deserve to have a car which is equal or better than before, not worse.
If you paid for the repair then it is obviously not under the manufacturer's warranty. But it is still under the warranty that is required by law of anyone that does repairs. If you paid for it and it is not done right then it is under warranty for a short period of time (the shop's not the manufacturer even if it was done by a dealership). Don't drive it any more until this is fixed, 8K is a lot of money maybe look into a lawyer before taking it back to the shop.
