I know, I was just wondering about the screen being glass or not. I would be surprised if a $300 Defi guage didn't have a glass cover.

Hmm, my Defi BF arrived scratched around the edges too. The front window is plastic, not glass. I thought it was a problem with the packing, since it was fairly loose inside the Defi box it came in. It's been too long to get a replacement now so I might try buffing it also.

Whether or not the 'cleaner wax' works or not, that's besides the point. Someone sold you a 'broken' item and instead of sending you a new one, they're trying to side step making you buy something to make it look new.

F-that... just get your money back all together and buy from someone else. Who is this vendor?

LOL! Cleaner wax? Is the guy nuts? The only thing you can do now is to wet sand it.
