Bone stock EVO, am I the only one?
Bone stock EVO, am I the only one?
As a daily driver, I don’t see a reason to mod it.
In a stock form:
It accelerates faster that most cars on the road.
It handles better than most people can handle.
It stops short of poping your eye ***** out of their socket.
5 years 50k mile warrantee.
All for around 30K
What else can you ask for?
Call me crazy, but I don’t see a need to fix unbroken thing.

Uhh how long have you owned one? This will change... trust me.
It could take a year or so.. once things need replaced temptation will kick in.

I just bought my '06 WW IX GSR...it is stock still...only 8 miles on it...on the dealer lot...being shipped to me next week...'06 is supposed to be ridiculous out of the box i hear...mods...they must...occur...megan TBE is on order...on when properly broken in.
Yeah, if you have an 06 chances are you haven't owned the car for over a year (I could be wrong, of course).
But I DO know one person who has kept his Evo stock. He's over 40 years old and doesn't want to get into that whole scene. Curious...what is your age?

mine is stock right now. well. kind of.
minus the larger rear sway bar, short shifter, and aluminum shifter bushings.
but that is basically stock.
it's defintely a great car to drive around in the stock form, but now that i have a taste i want to take it further and really make the car a beast.

getting at least a catback exhaust will only do good for your evo, it will let your car breathe easier, the stock catback is extremely restrictive for a car with such power, or at least an axle back muffler. the stock muffler is shameful

I have some auto-x experience, but it'll be a long time until I can outdrive the car, if ever. As such, I have no immediate plans to mod it. I am seriously considering attending a driving school for a refresher course, though.
