H.I.D in a evo9

Hi guys!! Just bought a EVO9 and here in Spain is not available the option of the HID kit.

Anybody knows what parts I have to replace to install the oem HID kit of the evo9 of US in my european evo9??

and if I have to replace the front headlights and if the ballasts are in the headlights??etc..etc

And if anybody can tell me the part numbers that I hace to replace I agree a lot the answers and the parts numbers.

Thanks in advance.

check out the thread i just opened. standard Evo 9 comes with projectors for the halogen lights already, so mounting an aftermarket HID kit on there is not too bad. check out the pictures and see what u think. u could end up saving some cash

but yea no fog if u just get a kit

I have the same problem.
I've ordered an EVO IX here in Europe (Belgium) and HID was not on the options list.

I also want to install OEM HID light on my EVO IX with the orange city-lights.
And also want to place the red side markers in the rear bumper (off-topic)

Ben

Hello Javier,

I only have ordered my evo yet.
I don't have it yet, but i sure want xenon on it.

I sell xenon aftermarket kits here in Belgium for some time, but now i stopped the selling of those sets.

If you place an aftermarket set i don't think it is nessecary to replace your fuses.
If the set starts it draws 7.5amp, but when it has warmed up (about 15secs) it only draws 3.2 amp.
I think your original cables can handle that short 7.5amp startup power.
