Whats a good price for a new Evo

First I want to say that this will be my second Evo, I bought my first one about a year and a half ago, it was an 04 Evo 8 with SSL and I paid 30,700 for that one, I sold after 12 months and now I want another one. I was looking at a an 06 IX GSR for 31900, and an 06 MR for 35000, I never really thought the MR was worth the extra money and now that the IX's have most of what used to seperate the two models I think its even less appealing, BUT I must say that this particular one is WW and I really liked the look of the it. Anyway I would really like some input on what you guys have recently paid for yours and it what parts of the country you bought them. I am in Massachusetts but am willing to take a drive to save some money. Thanks in advance.

These are great prices for Evos:

IX $27,999
IX w/SSL $31,299
IX MR $32,999

All include destination charge.

Huge Evo Price Drop!!!!!!!

The downside is you have to buy from a California dealer, so you either fly out or you pay to have the car delivered.
The upside is that you save thousands of dollars compared to dealers near you.

I bought my car from South Coast and it was delivered last week.

Yeah I saw that thread when I searched BEFORE I posted, I agree that the prices are great but I'm on the east coast so it doesnt help me at all. Anyone in the Northeast area know of a dealer with decent prices.

Uh, if you didn't notice, I'm in MA too. That thread DOES help you if you want to buy a car, as many others in the Northeast who are fed up with dealer markups have bought from South Coast. You won't find low prices in the Northeast unless you find a dealer that does high volume or has high inventory, which I looked for and is nowhere to be found around Boston.

i got mine at Walpole Mitsubishi. They were very straight forward, and wanted a deal. I got my MR for $35K not counting the $1K over KBB for my trade in.

Damn sorry bout that I didnt notice that, how much did you pay for it to be delivered? I might be stuck because I'm trading a car in so I might have to be another victim of local overpricing.

Shipping with DAS was 1159, but I paid for a couple of options, so it can cost less (900-1000). It took two weeks.

for me it wasn't worth it. I got a recent grad discount $500, $1K over KBB for the trade in, and 1K off sticker, all said and done that was $34K, about the same cost for one from the west coast shipped - plus i got to trade in my POS without a hassle, and i got to drive it home that day. I would have paid 35 no problem. I can't believe people are paying over sticker over here.
