I am eager to see the first Evo with 100,000 miles and see how it is holding up. That will be kind of cool.

I don't know why everyone is so Worried. These are race cas they will last forever. Man I had a freakin 94 Plymouth Voyager with a 3.8 V6 Mitsu engine in it and that Fcker went to 450,000 miles and then I got rid of it because I got my Evo....That van was going perfect no noise at all. I loved it. I am looking at Evos to go to 500,000 miles with no problems.....

sent a sample of all my fluids to be analyzed at my 60K service. everything came back great.

BTW: 60K service = BIG $$
where did you get your oil tested?

I had the stock clutch replaced at 3K under warranty due to a problem from the factory, but it was working just fine at the time. The TOB was shot.

Easy! 5K break-in, where I didn't go over 5Krpms. And I have high miles which = lower friction! I didn't start out getting milage that good!

I drive 1000 miles a week so that will not take to long! I live in WV and commute to DC everyday! WHY? Because they pay me over 100K to do so!

AMS Tuning in Rockville, MD does the aftermarket work on my EVO and they will back my claims too! When I get a chance I'll post a PIC of the OD.

To answer the question on who checked my fluids, my dealership sent them to a lab I think. I can ask.
