Anyone buy from turbo-kits.com

http://www.turbo-kits.com/evo_turbo_kits.html

i was looking at the TME 20g upgrade, but i want to see if they are good to deal with...

Also, what is Single Puck Turbine Housing? I noticed that it is only offered on the Evo 9 turbo.. I drive an Evo 8, but are there modifications that need to be made to make the Evo 9 turbo fit?

thanks,

joe

I am glad to hear that they are pleasant to deal with. Has anyone bought a 20 g upgraded turbo? What kind of power gains are expected with supporting modifications?

what they are refering to about single pucks is the flapper...there are two types that the evo turbo's have 1) dual port flapper(jdm older version 10.5 as well as 03-04 9.8 hotsides) 2) single port flapper(actually has two ports but controlled with on flapper)

--20g's(there is a debate about the designs of these 20g's 5blade and 6blade wheels) are ok upgrades but dont expect too much if your not willing to run with race gas/meth because that turbo needs to run high boost in order see power huge power gains, the 16g's are pretty good for the stock 2.0 alone imo(once the hotside is upgraded to 10.5, but ix turbos are far more superior because of the larger comp.) honestly what are your plans?...and search the forums for the turbo of your dreams

--i never had experience with that web site but turbochargers.com also has upgrades for evo's.

--ix turbo can bolt up except you need to have either buschurs install kit or buy a ix turbo with the outlet pipe(connected to licp) and bend water lines.

Honestly, I would just like to get in the 380-400awhp range.. As of right now i have Works 3" TBE, LICP, UICP, HKS rs intake, Walbro fuel pump. I understand that much more is needed to achieve this goal, but i am just seeking out my options on how to get there.

I am in the process of getting HKS 272's and a bigger FMIC, but still debating which fuel management system/turbo works best for what i am trying to accomplish.

I just looked at turbochargers.com and i think that i am leaning towards the Evolution 8 TME 20G Upgrade 430HP. I think that this turbo will give me everything that i am looking for because i just would like my car to be a little bit faster than it is currently.

Anyone have this specific turbo ^?

I am pretty sure that is the estimated HP @ flywheel from turbochargers.com. I am looking in the 380-400awhp range personally.
