Finally ran the 1/4 mile......
Well finally did it....ran the 1/4 at Lebanon Valley Dragway in NY. First run was a practice run since it was the first time launching the car...hence the 14.0. The runs were as follows:
14.027@99.19....2.126 60ft
13.723@97.81....1.93 60ft
13.675@96.76....1.894 60ft
13.564@98.87....1.901 60ft
*removed the muffler for next 2 runs
13.32@approx 100.8 (lost slip...was also a 1.82 60ft)
13.36@100.55 with a 1.914 60ft
Car had 1/2 tank of gas and no spare.
After that I quit since I had set my max # of runs at 10 and was pretty happy with the results so far. Based on the way my times were going as I got more comfortable with the car a 13.4 stock would have been easy with a few more runs. I removed the muffler for giggles and it really responded. Certainly 13.2's (maybe better) were easily possible with more practice.
Funny thing is these times and MPH's are almost identical to my TXS stage 2 WRX that was supposedly making over 300hp. Makes you think huh.
On a side note...the car was a real hit with the domestic (Ford/GM) guys at the track which says a lot considering it was an American Muscle event that only has 2 Jap cars in attendance. Next week....autocross with the SVT guys...

Gotta love this car. Nice times. I have been away from drag racing for over 30 years and don't think I'll be starting again anytime soon... except maybe just this one last time.
No really, but only once.
But it's the only way to scientifically document the car's performance capability.
No, they are not all the same. I can't use someone else's time slips. It just wouldn't be right. I have do do it myself.
OK she said I can go.

Thanks guys....I know with a few more runs I could knock off another tenth or two but as it stood I was pretty happy with the results and did not want to beat on the clutch. All I can say is these cars have a lot of potential
