Steering Column Gauge Pod

Hi everyone. Evere since I bought my EVO about a month ago I have been trying to find a gauge pod that is able to accomodate DEFI gauges on the steering column and that does not interrupt the view to the factory gauge cluster. This morning I came across these pics. Does anyone know who makes that gauge pod and where I can find it? I would really appreciate any information.

ATI for sure. However, it does signifigantly block the view of the speedo and fuel / temp gauges.

I picked up a Defi HUD to remedy the speedo issue though.

Thanks for the information. If anyone knows a retailer that carries that style of gauge pod please post the link, although I am still looking.

I have the ATI, and with the gauges pushed as far out of the way as possible, you're still blocking the gas gauge (just a quick head tilt to the right cures it though, it's nothing horrible) and the extreme end of the speedo.

If you use individual gauge holders you can mount them on the column where you like. I only have a boost gauge on my column right now and the way I have it set it only blocks the check engine light and like 120+ on the speedo. I have room to mount another on the extreme right that wouldn't block anything.

Mine came with the Warrtalon package from Buschur Racing. I think I remember seeing them on their website. I just checked, they have them for 2 1/16" gauges for $20.

I love my RMR Carbon fiber pod with a 60mm boost gauge. With my seating/wheel position I can see the tach #'s just fine...I like boost right on top of the tach. It makes the scan one glance. It totally blocks the odometer but I can live with that.

I have the Autometer single-gauge pod for the steering column. The pod is on the left and only blocks 140mph +. But, it goes perfect with the tach.

Hi FlyNavy

I'm looking at geeting the RMR Carbon Fiber pod with a 60mm boost gauge as well. But i'm concern that it will block the tachometer.
Could you please post some pics of your setup on here. would be good if you can take photo from driver position so i can see if it will block the tachometer or not.

Many thanks in advance

My car is in the go-faster shop right now. I'll see what I can do. The smaller 60mm "circle" sits right ontop of the tac, but the numbers and marks surround it like a halo. If the top of your steering wheel doesn't block the top of your tach, you should be fine. The scan is very quick.

I also haven't learned to post pics yet. I don't have any webpic access.

It will not block the tach at all.

I have the ATI dual pod as well, I cannot seem to be able to fit the 60mm gauges in there... how the hell did you get those Defi gauges in there in the pic above?

So there are issues with the ATI gauge pod trying to fit 60mm gauges??? If that pod has issues then, can anybody comment on the quality and fit and finish of the RMR carbon pod. Also can anybody post pics of an installed autometer steering column pod?

Thanks in advance for the help and comments!
