Hello. Well,yesterday I got my new C/F wing put on,after waiting a few months. Shoutouts going out to my service adivisor at Kendall Mitsubishi.This is the third wing to be replaced and I was told that this wing was improved on.We'll see later on.

I was told by the guys at HB Mitsu 8&9 wings are way back ordered + + and if you ordered 8 or 9 months ago, the automated list took you off the waiting list. I guess the tennis racquet? racket? manufaturer who did the carbon fiber never dealt with the weatherability issues a car goes through,... so. I guess the few wings that have been replaced or repaired by dealerships are still failing after a few months as the newer clear coat fromulas are still not up to par. Hopefullyyours will last. Mine remans scabbed.
The new wing I received was the all carbon fiber wing that the Evo8 came with. I hope this one will last. It's weird,some owners have never had problems with their wings and a handful,like myself have had chipping and peeling.My car is a daily driver and is outside in the hot Florida sunshine.I will try the Meguiars NX wax for te spoiler and see if that helps.I think that was the wax I was told about.

I will actually be dealing with this issue and the oh so common Brembo issue we all get to deal with next week. So needless to say, I will be breaking out the digi this weekend to start my headache, I mean warranty claim Monday. This should be fun. I'll keep you guys posted on my battle, I mean progress...lol
I will try and get a picture if the wing posted. have had both sets of brembos replaced with no problem and the seem to be off better quality. The wing by the way,looks the same as when I bought the car.
