there is a little "barb" and a spring up in the sunglasses holder. i found it when i put my zeitronix display up there. i found out the hard way when i was cutting a hole for the cable. so mine is now ghetto rigged. as you are looking at it from the seat it'll be on the right side. your plastic barb may have slipped or gotten jammed.

I put my paper weight in there just in case of anything(if you know what I mean). Yea, it started to pop open for no reason now so I had to find another place to put the paper weight. My shades is in a case in the arm rest.
That reminds me. When I first bought my shades, I put them on the dash board and went to go eat one afternoon. When I came back to my car, I totally forgot about the head and burn the sh*t out of my face. LoL Well, not that funny b/c it hurts haha

Installation from dealer runs about $88.00. However, it also comes with the template and detailed instructions on how to install it. The template helps you cut out the headliner without screwing it up.

Mine does the same dam thing = won't stay closed. Has done it since new. Now the pin that holds it in on the right hand side broke out. Guess I better finally get a new one.
