ok so, I've had my Evo for a total of 2 1/2 weeks and finally got pulled over tonite! lolol, the funniest part was when the cop was inspecting the car, i heard him mutter- "What the hell kind of car is THIS??"

silly! you cant really appreciate the full story, since i didnt give all the details. This road is technically a 25, but there is no need for it, its a two lane - very busy road.
it was not a back street where children would be playing, plus it was 12:15 in the morning. also i wasnt driving 55 for like 10 min, it just so happened i gave the evo a nice little boost- of course right in front of a cop. actually i am usually very good with my car. but thanks for the concern, i wouldnt want to give Evo's a bad name at all.

 

no, maybe YOU dont quite understand... disabled children sometimes cannot control their actions. you obviously dont know the details here. two lane street or not, they will find their way.

I had a similar encounter. Mine happened 4 days after I got my car. Got pulled doing 55 in a 40. Cop really digged the car. Immediately told me to get a new radar detector, I was getting a warning and nice car , again. I was glad that I had such an "Exotic" yellow car. I also took his advice and bought a Valentine.

All in all, I can relate witcha!

 

Hey,JaReDbOy,regardless of what You said in Your second post,when somebody says"and finally got pulled over..." makes me sick.All Evo owners dont really need extra attention from cops and believe me,that if You want give him a "little" boost ,do it on open road with 55 speed limit and You can do it after midnite as well

Dude,believe me ,this nothing personal,but my fiend's brother is a cop.He told me all kid of stories about cars with "wings".So when they see somebody's drivin' Evo and doin' 20-30 over ,they take it as another rice car with extra HP under the hood.This is what I was told.I speed my baby up from time to time ,but I do it on roads with 55-65 speed limit ,but if u r lookin' for "little" thrill ,do it on a track.Believe me ,that is way more fun than speeding on regular road
