I wonder if this happens to most of you?

Almost everytime I'm on a stop on a red light, on a single lane road (w/ a right turn lane on my right), almost always another car/suv will sit on the right turn lane and try to beat me and merge onto my lane when the light turns green. And of course they always don't get a chance to cut me off.
I don't think I'm really racing on the street (I'm on denial). Or am I? Anyway, it always gives me a certain high since I don't street race nor go to the track(yet). It's nice to sometimes flex those Evo muscles.

 

i get it all the time. especially turbo diesel trucks. i hate'm

 

Actually it happens all the time to me, especially too-big $hits and pickup trucks. Apparently they mistake us for normal four bangers and that we will cower away from their overtly large monstrosities.

Of course they always jump the light and start to go 2 seconds before the light turns green, and yet amazingly, I get in front of them every time, forcing them to find some way to get back into the traffic and to avoid eating curb.

I am not an aggressive driver, and almost never race, but for some reason this really gets me going.

Let them see the name of the back of the car. Let them recognize.......

When that happens to me, I usually let them go ahead. If they want to be first in line that badly, that desire is certainly greater than mine.

The stupidity in me comes out whenever I drive by myself sometimes and I have a good tune blaring in my inferior Infinity audio. But whenever I have somebody else in the car, I always wear that halo on my head and drive like a grandma (w/c I do 75% of the time) .

 

it happened to me only a couple times.. but yes all were pick up trucks.. i just let them pass..
dont wanna waste gas on these dumb aasssses..

 

I just laugh and let them do whatever they want

 

i will wait 1 full second, then casually continue on my way. displaying one's superiority is a quick way to get a "street racing" ticket especially cuz the cop's gonna ask why we had to fly past the Ford Airlines F-350 w/ the 12" lift...

 

Happens to me often....depends what kinda mood i'm in: do I let them just go or do I challenge them and win? 50/50 right now. I don't waste my time with obvious losers who are just revving their engines to show off. I usually take the cars I think I may have a tough time with.

 

Normally happens to me with Ford F-3000000000 Diesel trucks with 6 inch diameter mufflers spewing grey clouds directly at the level of my open window. I think they actually aim the obnoxious stuff at our heads on purpose, I mean, why not point it at the ground?

Any way you look at it, they never get in front of me.

 

You guys gotta come out to Colorado. This is the LAND of the quad cab, dually, diesel pick up truck. Ugh, with gas being so expensive you'd think people wouldn't be using these as their daily drivers! It goes without saying that they're just running errands around town with em, not actually towing anything with em...

 

YES!!!!!! im not the only one.... sad part is they actually try and its even worse on the highway, they see you in the rearview and they "try" to take off....

 

Dang, It's almost always pickup trucks with me too...

 

Every time, I almost always let them go just incase a cop things I am "RACING"

 

i hate when people do that alot of times its girls who just get there licence blasting there stereos and have all that corny stuff hanging from there rearview mirror i usually get in front of them just to get them angry then they tailgate and ill smile the whole time im so immature sometimes!
