Just buy a IX... the X will disappoint just enough to not have it be worth it whether it be performance, price, or whatever

Lease For A IX... Buy A X Later?
Lease For A IX... Buy A X Later?
Randomly thinking I need this car asap. And at the same time if any of those spy pics & random specs are of any indication I also want me that X.
Not something that I'm seriously considering since my first priority would be to buy this thing (IX). Plus nothing official came out about the X as of yet (my guess is Mitsu will wait until the IX supply dwindles away by Janruary-Feb before making anything official). But was wondering what's everyone's thoughts on this idea assuming anything that's out about the X is somewhat official like the spy pics of the regular lancer that's upcoming.

Just buy the IX. They will keep their value so if you end up wanting the X, you can just sell the IX. Then you might even have money left over in the sale/trade that you can put down on the X. Plus this gives you some time to let Mitsu work the bugs out of the X if you dont mind waiting a year or 2.
Just because Mitsubishi Auto Finance does not lease Evos does not mean you cannot lease one. Almost any bank or lending institution that offers auto loans can also sell you a lease on the same car.
The question is why are you looking to lease the car? In some situations, leasing a car can make a lot of sense. But in most situations, leasing costs more money and leaves you with less options long term.
