What did you think of the MOD event in Normal, IL? A few pics inside...

I was just on here doing my daily browsing and seen no one had made a post about the MOD event from this past weekend in Normal, IL so I thought I would. Just wondering what everyone else thought about it.

Overall I think it was a good event. Its always a good time to get out and put faces with voices/names and just relaxing around a bunch of Mitsu nuts. Attendance did seem to be down a bit from lastyear. Not sure why... the weather was great besides being a bit warm but it was better than last year when it was cold and windy. It was also pretty cool checking out some of the concept cars as well as some cars they are considering bringing over here.

David, Daniel and Myself are all considering getting the "I" when/if they come out. 3 cylinder Mivec turbo in RWD or AWD. Should be a fun daily driver.

Here are a few quick pics that I took. Their not the greatest as I was having some technical difficulties with my camera.

Our setup:

A couple prototypes:

The "I" ( I like it)

Ralliart Street Raider

Ralliart Outlander

Ralliart 4G Eclipse GSX

Colt Prototype

1G Convertible (Thank goodness they never made this. )

We would also like to thank Mitsubishi USA as well as everyone who helped put the event on as well as the invite. We had a good time but man.... that drive stinks. 7 1/2 hours one way. lol

Hope you guys like the pics. Anyone else that has some pics from the event feel free to post them in this thread.

Take care

i really second that

if they made that car and the price was right, i would HIGHLY consider getting it on looks alone...

Not too sure about the rims though, but I like the color scheme and style.

thanks for the pics...we really wanted to go again this year but could't make it. Can't believe the crowd was smaller this year. I can't wait to see what you guys do to the "I" car if it makes it to production.

It actually is a production car in Japan I believe. They just need to bring it here. Cost is going to be $10k-$12k. I'm assuming the $12k is for the AWD. It should be a fun car to play with.

Looks like fun! I may have to look into getting that "I"

I may be mistaken but didn't they produce a few prototype 1g convertibles? I remember the gullwing concepts, but I couldn't remember about the convertibles.
