At Willowbank Raceway, Australia yesterday afternoon the Heat Treatments R32 Skyline GTR broke the long standing world record of the HKS GTR with a time of 7.59@192MPH. The HKS GTR held this record for nearly 5 years. This makes this GTR the quickest 4WD in the world.

I have attached a link to the record run. He has plenty left in it as it was skating halfway down the track. This thing is a weapon you have to see it in person and hear the noise this GTR makes

Skylines have electronic controlled AWD. To take them to regular dynos they just remove a fuse and they become RWD.

they have a switch to go from RWD to AWD and yes its a built automatic

 

So that's basically a RWD car...What's so impressive about that?
