Need sunroof help

Need sunroof help

my sunroof just stopped working. my warranty just expired this past may. what should i do? i'm in hermosa beach any suggestions on who/where i should take it to get it looked at?

Do you hear the motor trying to open the sunroof? If so, the torque screws loosen up thru time....they could be preventing them from opening. I had this happen to me but I could open the sunroof half way.....if you hear nothing at all.....I would say wiring or motor went bad. I have no recommendations where to take it...sorry.

yeah i do hear the motor trying to open. it sounds as if the gears are grinding. i can manually open/close the roof. how do i tighten the torque screws??

I say Search. There are a lot of threads on fixing the sunroof. In DIY, I think.
