Tuning Question

Hey everyone!!!! i was just wondering if a dyno tune helps more then just a regular tune!! I have lots of upgrades on my car like downpipe, up pipe, catback, intake, ams front mount and bigger piping, exhaust manifold, boost contoller, turbo timer, and also a 20g turbo.. Do i really need a tune??? It smells like iam running to rich and my car also idles very low like around 400 rpm.....

Do you have a Subaru??? Up pipe????

You should invest in a good tune, you can increase your idle with a phillips screwdriver. Its located on the throttle body

I dont know much about tuning, but i know somethings wrong there if your idling at 400 rpm. Idle should be 900 rpm. A tune would defientley help you out with your running rich problem. Especally since you have a larger turbo, front mount and intake. A custom dyno tune will produce more gains than a mail in flash.

Yes you DEFINATLY need a tune, more then likely your car is slower than stock, and with a good tune and all those mods i would expect you to see a considerable gain; I'm talking much more then 50 whp.

Will an untuned EVO with that many mods really be slower than stock? I have alot of the same mods on my car and I dont know if it runs slower than a stock evo. It doesnt feel as fast as it should be. I am getting it tuned soon, so we will see what results I get.

do you need a tune??? slap urself...ok now slap urself again.

ANY car/truck made after 1995 benefits HIGHLY from a tune. u proabaly noticed that it is slower than stock even with all those nice new parts on it. u run of risk of catastrophic failure to the motor if it is not running in its optimum condition. and YES a dyno is the ONLY way to get ur car dialed in for the best performance. try to either find a Mustang Dyno or a Dyno Dtynamics dyno in ur area as those are the most accurate...

b4 i forget, ur mods don't list any fuel system upgrades. u might want to consider that b4 the tune gets done to keep that new turbo from running lean & us reading about ur blown motor a month from now... just a thought

Yes, consider a fuel pump and injectors. I'm surprised you haven't caused damage with no tune and all those mods on it. Especially a new turbo! Not only will you get your car running in a way that it won't be damaged you'll get a lot more hp out of it. Tune it!
