MBC on a IX

ok so i just installed a Megan catless TBE, Stewart Warner Boost gauge. and bought a halman Pro MBC.. And had a quick question. Would throwing a MBC on the car and raise the boost to @20-21 slow the car down(ie pull timing etc) without a tune? Im ordering a fighters Garage LICP and a couple other things on the car before i get it tuned. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks Justin

Raising it to 20-21psi would be fine.

No but knock would pull timing and if your boost is too high you will get knock without tuning.
