How many Evo IX have been produced total?

Does anyone know the approximate numbers of how many Evo Ix's they made since introduction till stop of production?

yes but I keep hearing that they got such bad comments on the X that they are sprucing it up soo it looks better, expecialy in the interior. So were probaly going to have a Better looking X.

yes all the interior pics i have seen are garbage, the Exterior is growing on me, But the interior is just uterly horrible.

i don't think they are going to shut down the factory, what happen if a dealer need a new motor for their customer, and other parts?

If production numbers are following other Evo model years, they imported around 8000 or so to the US.

Evo IX production stoppped Aug 31, 2006. The last couple of batches were all SEs or MR SEs. The only IXs left are the ones either on dealer lots already or on their way to dealer lots.

^^ sounds correct. my friend that works for Mistu R&D said pretty much the exact same thing.

As of September, all cars produced for sale in the US must have side-impact airbags, so it makes sense that they stopped at the end of August. Probably produced as many as they possibly could before then so the dealers would have stock for as long as possible before the X comes.

I still can't believe they are done making the EVO I know and love. From what I've seen/heard, the EVO X is not going to be my style...

IIRC, there were ~4,500 Evos sold in the US in '05. I'd expect something similar for '06 with more MRs sold than the 1000 in '05.
