I have a 2006 EVO IX RS coming in December but conflicting data on the spec sheet on Mitsubishi's site and 'miscellaneous Google searches' are confusing me.

Does the 2006 RS come equipped with:
1.)ABS and/or Electronic Brake Distribution(EBD)?
2.)Active Center Differential(ACD)?

Check directly from Mitsubishi website, it's all there! Yes to ACD.. no ABS

Wow no ABS or EBD... this car could be hairy if you do not know what you are doing!

And yeah it can be nervous when braking hard.

 

I drive a '06 RS, and yes, to no ABS. Yes to ACD.

As far as nervousness when braking.....

Never seen ABS on any REAL racecars.

True... and are you a REAL racecar driver?

No offence, but EBD and all that isn't just for gimmicks... they help the average driver go faster and safer.

Of course, if you really are a real racecar driver, you have the skill to modulate your brake pedal, and maybe you even adjust the front/rear brake distribution manually, so you don't need EBD... but... are you?
