I friend of mine just got a evo 8 a fews days back and I'm wondering what if anything carries over from the preavious gen car? He's interested in the usual bolt on mods (intake header exhaust) but I've yet to see many good places yet that stock evo 8 parts in the us. I know takakaira has some really nice stuff for the other evos but nothing good yet for the evo 8's. any help or links would be great.

 

nothing really carries over... exhausts need to be lengthened, intakes need modding, but they have intakes available for the VIII... and exhausts... RMR, Buscher etc...

Springs carrry over i believe...

 

humm that sucks, dont know much on them what so ever but I was under in the impression that it was mostly a some differnt body parts on the same chassis. Oh well still a sick *** car, I do tuning on subarus mostly but were trying to branch out more. thanks for the input.

 

dude, be patient... in 6 months the market will be streaming with EVO VIII goods...
