Not this time. I paid for everything you see in this thread - all suspension mods, wheels, tires, and the install/balancing/alignments. I'm not quite good enough to land sponsorships for all that...

CC, I bought everything as one kit, so I didn't know what brand the parts were except for the Ohlins until I got there. The bushings all had WORKS on the packaging, and the end links (not shown) were from Perrin (dammit!). I had a little fit (jokingly) about how I was adding all this competitor stuff to my car.

Yeah, I know you love Perrin, Zhemel, but I'm not fond of them.

Clay - congrats on the times. I like your philosophy and have tried doing that with my car for the most part.

How do the Ohlins fair on the street?

Finally, do you have an ETA on when the new turbo will be installed and tuned? Keep us posted.

Part of the draw on this setup designed and tuned by Paul Gerrard is that it can be extremely good for the track while being tolerable on the street. My 700f/900r springs are VERY stiff obviously, but they have designed the whole system to still be drivable on the street without worry. I have hit some bumps that were a little rough, but I easily drove it 150 miles on the highway home after the install. I have different damper settings for street, auto-x, and circuit that help with that, too, but the majority of it is in the valving and setup.

The turbo install depends on my local sponsor shop. I try not to get in the way of customers, so I just drop the car off whenever they have some free time. The owner said late this week would be probably, but if not, then it will be next week. The best part is they have a nice DynoDynamics, so it will get dyno'd before and after, although there won't be a retune involved, but that's ok.
