Does anyone know of anybody that could cover the stock EVO steering wheel with suede, maybe with a leather yellow centering strip at 12 o'clock?

Hopefully they can do a quick turn around so I don't have to drive around for too long using vice grips to steer with

It would be like a Rally wheel and not as slippery as stock

 

Maybe try a local upholstery shop?

 

either that or a conversion van place - I would think they do a lot of custum upholstery on cars/trucks & such... if they can't/won't do it they may be able to point you in the right direction.
