aftermarket pw on a RS?
i just got a really good deal on a IX RS and a IX MR, but the MR is about 8 grand in difference and i cant have a car without pws. so does anybody here have a RS with an aftermarket power window and how is it? i was told it's not recommended to get one but i would like to roll down my windows sometimes while im driving. anybody here?
im sure there are people who have done the kits, and im sure they're very expensive, the RS's pwn they're very rawr and ready to go for racing, trust me that 150lbs u saved will make a huge difference.

they dont have any GSRs in stock or SSL. you guys with the RS dont get annoyed when you want to fix your mirrors or roll the windows down but you can't reach over?
get an SE if you want power w/ the aluminum roof + you get ABS, assist grips, center console armrest, sound deadening, hid's and red stitching...lol
I knew exactly what I wanted when I bought my IX RS...some would say I "downgraded" going from my VIII w/ power everything and all the bells and whistles but I knew exactly what I wanted and am ecstatic w/ my IX

The manual windows aren't that bad, honestly. It's the manual locks that drove me nuts. Passengers in 2006 never think to lock their door when exiting the vehicle. I paid a couple hundred in parts and installation for a power lock/alarm kit. Much better now.

Well that kind of question is really personal. I obviously don't drive an evo but I also have manual windows, manual locks and manual mirrors (I have the RS of lancers) and I don't mind it. I'm the only one who drives my car with any regularity so once my mirrors are set up I don't need to adjust them for months/years. My window isn't a big deal and locks aren't bad either. Only thing that can get annoying is not being able to roll up/down the passenger side window and not being able to easily lock all the doors when your shuttling people to and from the bar. The only person who really complains about my cars lack of amenities is my sister, and that's cause she complains about everything.
