Buschur stainless o2 housing NIGHTMARE!!!

Hey every one...I recently bought myself a Buschur racing stainless o2 housing. I currently have a buschur bullet tbe and i thought to insure good fittment, i would buy a buschur racing o2 housing. What a nightmare.....it didnt fit in any way shape or form. After the factory unit was removed the BR one didint even line up with the factory studs. After grinding out the housing to fit. The downpipe barley lined up.....Has anyone else had similar problems. This is the kind of thing i would expect from an ebay housing thats why i spent extra money to make sure it fit.....

I'm sure this will get a lot more attention tomorrow after New Years, but the Buschur SS O2 housing IS the "ebay" one. Its made by ssautochrome I believe but don't quote me on that. They offered it after seeing the performance gains it put up vs. other manufacturers models. The other one they offer is the ported and coated stock one.

I will also be installing one of these soon, so I'm hoping your alignment issue is just from a flaw in that specific piece. There is a fair amount of people on here who run this housing without issue. Either way, I'm sure Buschur would have offered to exchange it if you hadn't drilled it out. Anyway, bummer that it wasn't a smooth install for you. Hopefully now that its on the nice gains will make it worth it!

I think you should have called BR as soon as you saw it wasnt lining up. Dave or nick or Jarrod would have taken care of you imediately. I guarantee they would have overnighted you another one with an apology which is all they could do anyway and problem solved. Now that you grinded the housing i think you might have to pay for another one unless you got it to fit and everythings alright.

you dont have to pull the whole turbo...just unbolt the dp, pull the mani off, then unbolt the clamp that holds the hotside to the turbo, unbolt the O2 housing bracket, disconnect the O2 sensor (at the clip), then pull the hotside off the turbo w/ the O2 housing attached.

Once the hotside is off its super easy to swap the housings. Then to reassemble just reverse the order

I didn't do all that - I removed the radiator and left the rest of the turbo system untouched.

Anyway, there's no way a Buschur O2 didn't fit right, and there's no way the DP didn't fit and line up. I've installed both of these myself, and the fitment is perfect. Tons of people have done the same with no problem, so you either messed up the install, were sent a defective O2 housing, or you were sent the WRONG o2 housing.

I installed my ebay o2 without taking anything out the car and dont recomend doing it like that! Just pull the radiator like Warrtalon said. No fitment issue at all.

Had the same problem on my buds EVO with the O2 housing. We had to grind out to of the holes to get it to line up right. Good luck. Also this was with a SSAAutochrome too.
