Question Off to get tuned...... anything I forgot?

Hey Guys,

I'm going Wednesday to Topspeed in Atlanta to get my VIII tuned (re-flash).
I've added 3" TBE, a cone style filter, SAVC-R, Racemax 272 cams, ARP Headstuds, Walbro 255. I think that's everything.
I plan on doing a boost leak test, oil change, and new plugs this weekend to make sure everything is in good shape. I was wondering if you guys could maybe throw up some ideas of things to go over and check before driving 5 hrs to get tuned. I don't want to waste their time and my money down there doing stuff that I should have done at home. Thanks for the help guys!

Racemax cams?? What in the hayul is that? Hope they perform like the other proven cams on the market (HKS, GSC, Comp, etc).

Do the things you already have planned before you go down there, and you should be fine. Fix whatever leaks you find - it's likely you'll find some small ones.

Sounds like you got it covered, unless you want more parts

I always want more parts and I did forget to buy a larger turbo as well, the problem there is that someone forgot to give me all that money. LOL I got the cams from XS, not a bad price on them either. We'll see how they do. If they don't work out, it's not like i can't pull them and order some new ones

Q, glad to see your not dead man. When you coming back down this way for a visit? I hope that VDM Evo of yours is still running good. LOL

Make sure you remove the plastic panel underneath the engine bay in case you blow off a hose, they need to strap your car down to a point that's covered, etc.

I see no LICP on that list. Helps with spool up!
