...?

That's what clutches do...put power to the ground, transfer power from motor to tranny...you have free'd up normally lost power, however, quite a bit is in the head...

quite a bit is just a saying..i know i didnt pick up 50awhp but its a whole new monster...it picks up and spools a lot sooner, and 3rd gear holds and pulls like a raped ape...all my friends rode in car before and after clutch...and told me its crazy and a lot diff...

i went with a spec stg 2 for now...going exedy twin or tilton once i do t-case and tranny from shepard...the clutch holds 500ftlbs torque...its a really good clutch..my clutch was slipping really really bad,and was short on funds so got this one for now...i recommend spec

i know they release power, but didnt think it would be this big of a difference

Did you break it in? I imagine it difficult to drive 500 miles around an island.

On by back I can typically do a clutch job in 9-12 hours. I don't try to hurry at this anymore.

Makes sense. If you went with a lighter flywheel it will definitly let the motor rev better, giving better throttle response. Plus you were prolly not puttng all your power down with the worn out stocker so your really getting the full effect of that bad *** 35R.
