how can i roll intake piping ends???

how can i roll intake piping ends???

how can i roll the end of intercooler piping so it wont pop off? and ideas?

A blow torch and a small hammer and a vice clamp. Just tap it out so it looks like a horn, its gonna look ghetto, but once the tbolt clamp is around it and the silicone coupler is covering it whos gonna notice.

If there is a bead on the pipe all you should need is a good clamp, preferrably a t-bolt.

You could also run a bead of weld around the end of the pipe.

I welded a peice of drill rod to a pair of old vise grips and grinded out a notch for the drill rod to fit into. I have only used it on aluminum and does a way better job than you would expect. It takes about ten minutes per tube.

thanks guys. see there is nothing on the end no bead or anything i dont have a welder so i can weld anything on it. i will try hammering it out a little it should hold

i run 28psi in my minivan and none of my pipes are bead rolled. but i do have t-bolt clamps. havn't popped a pipe off yet.

t bolts are the way to go. hell they were designed for fittings on fighter aitcraft talk about boost lol!
