Free Pads?

Well the other day when my brother was in town he went to the Subaru dealership to get serviced. When they checked his brakes they told him that since his warrenty had not ran out that they would replace his brake pads for free. I want to know if Mitsubishi will do this also and if anyone had got this done for free like my brother did.

Negative. It's even a fight to get warranty work done for free!

You have a chance of getting them free if you see this on the service manager's desk:

Wear items like brakes and clutches are not covered unless manufacturer defect. Ive never even heard of any company doing that.

subaru does have a 3 year 36month item wear warranty

http://www.subaru.com/owners/warrant....jsp?year=2007

Wear Item Limited Warranty
Wear item coverage is 3 year or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Items covered are brake pad/shoe linings, clutch linings, and wiper blades.

but i still like my evo better
