Dementions are 8 1/8" x 3 9/16" x 6 3/8" at 14 lbs wet. The battery you posted doesn't list cold cranking amps and the terminals seem a bit wimpy.

First off GOOD JOB, I dont own an evo but do own a RA. Secondly Hmmmmmm lets see here 300 dollars plus for a battery upgrade that drops a few pounds or 50 dollars for a DIY. I would have to go with my moto off performance over looks. Go with it if it works, why WASTE money on something like a 300 dollar battery conversion when you can spend 50 and take the other 250 and spend it on somthing else. I will never know why everyone bashes someone for doing something different and origanal on here. Keep up the good DIY mods man, some people just hate becuase they cant be origanal and didnt think of it first.

It was sanded masked and painted. I think the red could use a few more coats but the cover itself looks nice. Thankfully she's not a show queen, just daily driven

if you did that you need better paint, or you need primer on there, pref., white or gray.. from the pic, it looks like the letters were painted with a brush..

Its a "hammered finish" paint so its supposed to lay up like that. The letters were brushed and probably need a few more coats.

For about $50 I'm happy with the result and take no shame in the fact that I made something and saved money doing so. As it sits now it'll be just as effective as any other mini battery kit out there to fit a larger/shorter UICP and I spent a hell of a lot less than I could have.

It only has like a 1/3 the cold cranking amps of AMS's or Buschurs mini battery..

I don't think this was the best idea..
