2004 Mitsubishi VIN codes

A few weeks ago, Mitsubishi released the VIN codes for their 2004 model year. You can view them at:
http://www.mitsubishicars.com/pdf/04VINs.pdf

If one does a PDF search of that page for "Ralliart," the blank line below the "J4 = Lancer *" is highlighted. Weird. It turns out that "J6 = Lancer Ralliart" is invisible. Presumably, this is the base Lancer with the Ralliart aerokit.

The blank spot under the Eclipse GT yields this

C4 = Eclipse GS
C7 = Eclipse GTS
C8 = Eclipse GT
D2 = Lancer Wagon
D6 = Lancer Wagon
4 = 3–door hatchback (Eclipse)
5 = 2–door convertible (Eclipse Spyder)
6 = 4–door sedan (Lancer, Galant)
7 = 4–door pillared hardtop (Diamante)
MPV
N4 = Endeavor Limited F4WD
P5 = Diamante ES
P6 = Diamante LS
P8 = Diamante VR–X
S2 = Montero Sport LS, ES (RWD)

AutoXer, you're sharp. I didn't notice all the other "invisible" stuff on that page.

it's the Lancer Sportback wagon.
confirmed some time ago.
its even on their website. on their "performance cars" page or whatever they call it.
it'll have the same performance specs as the ralliart. looks like a cross between a lancer and volvo i think.

I have seen pics of the Lancer wagon. Check the Japanese Mitsu site. I think that is where I saw the pics.
