Auto Trader Question
I am planning on listing my car in auto trader; however when it comes down to choosing a Mitsubishi model the Evo isn’t listed. Yet when I search other lancers they have "Lancer Evolution" as their title. Can someone who has used auto trader help me out? I really doubt the “sellability” of the car if it is listed with the lancers instead of the evos.

You will have to place your ad under Mitsubishi Lancer, just remember to label your ad as "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution"
eBay also lists Evos under the Lancer section (as well as STIs going under Impreza and SRT4s going under the Neon section)

all mitsubishi's get lumped together in the paper anyways so it shouldn't be a big deal. if someone is looking for a evo they will find it. i sold my sc300 in a few weeks with autotrader. i am selling my 1g this april and im going to put it in autotrader. the only thing is that you will get calls for months after you sell the car. good luck with the sale.

Yeah just make sure you put "lancer evolution" in the title. When you search on Auto Trader you can add key words to narrow down the search. So all someone would need to do is enter "evolution" and it brings up all the Evo's and excludes the Lancers.
Good luck with the sale.
