Help... High gear issue

I have a cam'd EVO that I've never had any problems with UNTIL this week......

I recently pulled the full 3" TBE off the car and installed the stock downpipe - testpipe - catback system.

Here is the problem.... In 4th gear I now get what feels like a half second of power loss.... almost like a misfire but there's no backfire no boost drop on the gauge and no abnormal noise. Honestly I'm not sure what a misfire should feel like.

I don't believe this is knock because I filled the tank with 100 octane and the same thing happens..... If I stay in the throttle it will happen two or three times in a row about 1-2 seconds apart from one another.

This problem doesn't happen in 1st-3rd gear...or at partial throttle.... only in a high gear in a high load condiition. Could this be a misfire? Could the stock DV be letting go even though the boost gauge doesn't show a change? Could this still be knock? I am retarding 4* of timing and am only pulling 10% up top where the problem is presenting its self.

I am on a new set of iridium plugs but I didn't have this problem with the full TBE.

Help.

ECU has had the Vishun XEDEFlash...... Its not fuel/maf/boost cut..... feels like a partial loss of power for a split second.

I wouldn't think I'm blowing out my spark if I wasn't when I had the full TBE on.

My first thought was clutch, but without an engine rev, that doesn't make any sense. Hmm... well as the tree said to the lumberjack, "I'm stumped!"
