Tsukuba Battle
Anyone notice at the very beginning of the video that the qualifying times are given for each car? Spec C was fastest.
I think the near wreck that happened between the two RS Evos caused all of the white cars to brake so much that it was difficult for them to catch up to the STi and GSR. Once the Spec C got around the 5 speed RS, it really started making up ground. One more lap and it would have had 2nd for sure.
Anyways, the near miss kind of altered the outcome, but that is what racing is all about. Being at the right place at the right time.
Awesome Video! All the Best Motoring stuff is top notch.

The SpecC was obviously the fastest, best handling car on the track. He did start in the rear.
It is common knowledge in racing knowledge that any time you get tangles up racing slower cars, you fall off of the pace.
The GSR sure is bad *** though...6 months, and I will have mine...a real one with all the JDM goodies!

My company does the DVD authoring for the Best Motoring US videos. We just received the DigiBeta master for the US version of this video. It's sick! Some nice Touge battles too. We should have the DVD's ready in 20-30 days. Stay tuned!

OK the other 3 videos are up. Basically they are a comparison of the 8 vs the 7. They include a tractio, gearing ratio/top speed and a gymkhana (autocross) comparison.

Great news on the upcoming BMV DVD! I can't wait! I wasn't too thrilled with the "Tuning into Tokyo" BMV released a month or so ago....
For those having problems viewing it
If you can't see the video, a real easy fix that works with MOST incompatible video formats is to simply change the extension of the file.
For example: If it's an AVI Quicktime file, and you can't view it correctly, then change the .avi at the end of the file to .mpeg. And walla! There you go.
Edit: Make sure you right-click on the file FIRST and select "Rename" to change the file extension. If you don't do this first, you'll screw up the whole file, and that will really **** you off if you just spent an hour downloading it.
I've used this trick many, many times, and it has worked everytime. I'm sure it won't work all the time, but for now, it's an easy fix.
Hope this helps.
