What to do with Boost gauge hose?

I'm planning on purchasing the Orbital kit for my car to install a Double din screen into the car. I have the MR gauges in the car. Since the Orbital moves the A/C controls to where the boost gauge currently is, I'm going to temp. take the boost gauge off, until i decide to buy a better one and relocate it somewhere else.

Question: Will I have to plug up the hose that attaches to the boost/vac gauge with something if i take the Boost gauge off? If so, what can I use to plug it up with? Thanks for your time

It's a trivial amount of air flowing through that tiny hose, but you could easily crimp it off temporarily with a plastic zip tie / cable tie; just bend the end over and tie it off.

Those are both good ideas (screw or golf tee) with normal vacuum hoses, but this one is a little different: I just installed the MR gauges, and the rubber hose connects to the gauge nipple with a thin brass tube that spans the two rubber ends: When you disconnect the hose, the tube remains sticking out of it. So the crimping approach may be best in this particular case.
