Car Gettin Flooded Every Time It Rains!!!

hey guy,

my car is gettin flooded every time it rains on the driver side and rear driver side. I tried goin to the dealer to see if they can take a look at it but i would have to wait a week and a half for them to check my car. When this happened i vacuumed the water out then i drove off and more water came ouT. Do u guys have any idea what it could be?? Any suggest en on what i can do??? please guys help me out i am finding this very aggravating.

That sucks...I would start with the channels. Remove the wipers and the cover. Take a look down inside the channel. Look to see if there are any plugs that have come out.

Worst case scenario, remover the carpet. Then have a friend spray the car down a little at a time untill you find where the water is coming in at.

Go buy some damp rid right away. It will help dry the carpet and keep it from smelling.

Two things come to mind.
A. Is the AC drainage tube that's clogged and dumping the water in your cabin.
B. Your MR sports package was poorly installed <--which happened to me and a bunch of people. Basically, the gormet they used which at your passengerside front wheel well, was not sealed properly. So, water gets in there and soaks up until it can't hold anymore. Then it takes a dump on your carpet.

I'll try to dig up the article...however, if you search posts under my user name, you'll see a whole bunch of them about this problem. Another poster even had pictures.
