thinking of getting a LICP. but do i need a flash or can i run it without a flash.

right know i have

HKS RS intake on stock bov (no ECU flash,intake came with the car, And i know i should get one)

AMS TBEw/testpipe

I couldnt find it buy searching

 

I would get some cams and a fuel pump, then get it custom flashed thats just me though.

 

you should get a flash for the intake anyway so get the licp then flash

 

You need a flash for your intake, not for a LICP. I'd also invest in a Wally 255 since you've got an 8

alot of people get carried away with the "intake you need a flash", you will need a flash to see benefits of the intake thats it. The Evo is pig rich from the factory and will be fine but I also am with everyone else telling you get a 255 ASAP! Install all your mods and then get a flash.

 

I don't know if you need a Walbro ASAP, I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I was told not to worry about the fuel pump unless I installed cams. If I were you I would get a boost controller and a new BOV or one off the IX. Then get the thing tuned... Just MO

 

I believe the $90 fuel pump should be everyone's first mod if they plan to mod an Evo.

 

Once again, not saying it's bad idea, just that it might not be right for him at this time.

 

255pump, licp, mbc, 9 bov, custom flash....go have some fun!!!!

 

you need a flash now, but get that LICP on first so you don't have to do it twice.
