that is why I wear driving gloves all the time, to work with a covered garage and anytime I drive the evo. learned it first hand with the metal ball autoshifter of the lexus

 

you guys seriously get burned? Wow...i'm in miami and have the Greddy knob...and don't really have that prob and i park out in the open sun...you guys must drive around molesting that knob lol

 

 

I have the GReddy CW. I just bellow out some nice profane phrases when shifting. Seems to work for me.

 

well the wat I see it you have two options: You could either A. get an OEM leather shift knob, or B. (and this is the option I would suggest in your case) get this...

If you have one of those window shade, doesn't it stop the sun from coming in to heat up the shifter? If they made something like that for a condom, you won't have to worry about getting anybody pregnant.

 

not true i had my shade up & covered my greddy CW knob with a beanie...when i parked my car at 7AM...ready to go home at 430PM knob was F'n hot when i took off the beanie and shifted into R

i just simply put the beanie back on and continue to drive home

 

My hand turns red like I just went at it with myself driving to work.

Nobody jumps in their car and lightly touches their shift knob. Just grab and throw in reverse

 

lambskin comdoms........they work wonders on the knob.
