Hit and run

Well it happened Thursday morning but I'm just posting because I'm in NY over my GF family house.
So I usually park my car inside the garage or on the driveway, but Wednesday after picking my girl up from the airport, I was tired and didn't feel like moving cars around and I left my car on the street. I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood in NJ. Well about 8 am or so Thursday morning I heard the sound of a diesel engine truck, and then a back up "beeping" noise. I didn't get up because I didnt' hear any metal or glass braking sounds, so I went back to sleep. Later, I woke up at around 11:30 am went to the cleaners to pick up some clothes, and when I was about to get in my car I saw that my front driver's side door and a little bit of my fender was all wrinkle. Man, I was soo mad, drove home and started questioning some neighbors to see if they had heard or seen anything, but of course not. So now I'm stuck paying to get my car fix. I just think that people sometimes are really A....holes. I mean hit my and then leave. Anyways, thanks to EvoM, I think I've found a door and fender, just might have to get them repainted.

Doing the things that are being talked about here makes this site vulnerable, and pi$$es me off to no end, not to mention what it does to my insurance rates. CLOSED for cleaning and infractions//////

Not is not a felony, its a simple misdemeanor and that only if you can prove he had knowledge of the collision, other than that its just an infraction. Sorry though man that sucks. good luck. Oh by the way agreed with all the illegal talk.

wait, was the truck that "allegedly" hit you a Dump truck? Those that come around to pick up the garbage?

If so, wait for it next time around and get the information off the truck. And then report it.
