Hey guys I have a srt-4 and 1 of my buddys has an evo and he has noo idea about cars so im tryin to help him out. From a roll I beat him everytime and it just pisses him off..He wants to know what he can do to beat me from a roll. I dont know to much about modding evo's so i was wondering whats a good first mod for him?? I have a different Wga and it helps dramatically. I didnt know if a different wga would do as much for an evo as an srt-4. Thanks guys!
Exhaust...tell him to add a test pipe! 3" turbo back and a boost controller should be enough but if not a flash along with those things and he is good!
Welcome. What do you have done to your car
Hmm, that's weird, I've never lost to an SRT4 even from a roll
, because from a DIG, they never, ever stand a chance. Maybe tell your friend to drive better.............Besides, real racing is from a STARTING Line and ENDS a quarter mile. Just my opinion anyways.

^ Such a troublemaker!!!
. He must be driving a stock Evo 8 for the sound of it and/or not that good at shifting. He should get a turboback exhaust and a tune and then try again with you.
I own both cars and @ one point they were both bone stock. The SRT-4's extra displacement combined with lack of AWD seem to give it an advantage over the stock Evo (this is no secret). As stated before TBE, MBC, and most importantly a good tune. However I theorize that just cams alone would work. Also I actually would rather go from a roll even in my Evo and reason is because its easier on clutches and drive train.
