question about powertrain warrenty?

I was talking to the service manager at the local mitsu dealer the other day and he was telling me that to replace the stock clutch with an oem replacement it would cost roughly $1600. I do launch my car and take it to the local test and tunes occasionally, so i know im gonna be going through clutches fairly quickly, would it be worth it in the long run to just get an aftermarket clutch that can handle more horsepower and being launched on? even though it would void the powertrain warrenty?

Aftermarket clutch should not void your warranty as long as its LKQ (like kind & quality). ie no carbon twins or paddle clutches. I was told this directly from MMNA.

Of course then they could always use their old fall-back... you abused it!
