strange noise
my car was off the road for a few months due to not having the money for a new set of tires. i was decently far from home (25 miles) when i blew a tire and had to ride the donut home. my car is dropped with very aggressive camber. got new tires on, but have started noticing a very odd noise. i only notice it when i'm in the 25-35 mph range. its more of a deep hum. i listened to the sound clip of the T-case going bad, and it doesnt sound like that. its not that loud or noticeable. i AM running slicks right now, cause they were in my garage and not being used and i needed temporary tires. could the Yoko AO32's be making the noise? I hear it foot on and off the gas, in gear and out, but a LOT more while in gear. could the donut have damaged something??? it went straight, on normal roads never going about 40mph.
change your tcase fluid just to be safe and see if there are any metal shavings in the fluid. It Sounds like the begging of a broken tcase. Or maybe it could be a wheel bearing? Just some ideas.

well the shop that does all my work took a ride in my car today, and they're thinking its the t-case too. got an appointment in 2 weeks (car doesnt see the road much, 200 miles a month MAX) when i have some cash to change the fluids and check things out in detail. at least i'm moving to a new place and saving like 700 a month. lots of cheap t-cases on the for sale, hopefully pick one up for around 300 and off to Shep it goes.....
