I know how you guys feel, I am here in Iraq. 12 out of 15 months, I miss my evo so bad. Everytime i get a chance, i check out this site to keep myself up to date. I have bought: Magnesium Volk GT-U's, JDM IX Bumper, Coilovers, and i want the buschur stage 1 and 2. To bad i'll probably only have a year to drive, i'll becoming right back!

 

I had my mom buy my Evo while I was here (Iraq), have not had the chance to even drive it yetm but I go on mid tour in 12 days and finally get to take it for a spin for 18 days then have to come back and wait in agony for another 7 months. It sucks but I cant wait, just sucks that my whole time I am home I have to baby it and break it in Stay safe all you over here!

 

Yep, I am back here again for my 7th time. 2 times with the 82nd ABN, and 5 times private contract. Any of you guys near Kirkuk or Erbil? Oh and by the way Just for the record there has been a spotting of an EVO VII here in iraq, It was in Erbil. It was beat up but it was an EVO.

 

I was there for OIF1 and glad I haven't been back! My IRR ends in december and I have an IRR meeting I have to go to today I'll be thinking about yall when I drive my evo on to ft hood

I bought my evo after my iraq deployment. After this afgan trip... I plan on running low 10's!

 

wow... im amazed how many people actual go to iraq especially on here. Do wat you do guys! Come home safe, the dudes your fighting don't deserve to even breath the same air as you, your thier, you OWN them! The military HAUNTS me, i wanna go then i dont then i do then i dont. How do you guys afford your evo's??? thats my biggest concern about joining, also.. any of you guys know anyone that was on probation and was still able to join the military? (sorry just a lilll off topic but its a good place to ask) Don't worry im no trouble maker, just made one mistake

Will be going soon as well for a year. Evo will have to sit in storage and be a car cacoon cuz I don't have anyone that can take care of it Debating whether to sell it.
i14mp: as far as affording the Evo, when in Iraq, our paycheck is tax free. Also, we get extra pay over there (hostile zone, separation from family, etc...)

as far as probation, what branch are you trying to join and when does your probation end?

 

I'm trying to join the Air Force. I'm be going to basic sometime in Feburary 08.
